Our next phase of the Wonderland project just got fully funded with help from Guldborgsund multiplicity (LTU/KFB) and Local Action Group (LAG).
So we can begin with more renovations and activities to make Wonderland an even greater location for future events.
Here’s a quick look at what we are gonna work on during this phase.
Our activity Villa will get a full overhaul where we can use it year-round, without freezing our asses off. Another aim is to ensure that the villa could house other activities, such as tabletop RPG, war games, LAN parties, and small gatherings. Our approach is to stimulate cooperation between other organizers, to ensure a broader spectrum in types of smaller and medium events on Wonderland.
Our big warehouse is also getting an overhaul where we are fixing the roof, blocking out the roof windows, so we can better control the experiences, giving better access to electricity and more exits so we can house larger events inside the warehouse with more people. The renovations also aim to better support the new activities described above. Where the aim is to be able to accommodate a wide variation of activities, including smaller indoor concerts and festivals. Another positive effect is the ability to house events in the colder seasons.
Our other Warehouses will get better access to electricity and adding a real door at the end of warehouse 3, setup power outlets and lights throughout the buildings. This renovation aims to strengthen the ability to better include these areas in the wonderland experience. Where the poor electrical access and leaking roofs have limited the accessibility and experience at our events.
